No preference yet, I like them both. Choosing one side or the other to go spend time is the flip of a coin as much as anything else. They seem somewhat different in character. The AB side of west block seems to have more "high plains" feel on the large expanse of flat top, surrounded on the edges by some of the rolling terrain and coulees that's more prevalent on the SK side of west block. Perhaps that's because the top of the Cypress Hills formation is more sprawling on the AB side, and starts to narrow down on the SK side. The AB side has Elkwater of course, lots of nice stuff around there.

Centre block is quite different again, much smaller of course as far as the official park area goes. Lots of gently rolling ranchland type of country outside of the park portion, and then within the park those always surprising stands of lodgepole pine and hill slopes covered in really good aspen stands. I like it around there but avoid the lake which is more condensed than Elkwater and seems more touristy & overrun with water R&R seekers, in the summer.

I haven't explored the east block region at all yet, in the area SE of Maple Creek and NW of Eastend. I'd like to go poke around in that area though. I haven't gone to Cypress Lake yet to see what's there either, on the SK side. Need to do that.

Here are a couple of portraits from that same roll of T-Max 100 in the 645. I think these were likely taken with the 55mm f/2.8 (wide open).

What lens, iso and shutter speed for street photography? I thinking of getting the 645Z for portrait shooting. Thanks Bob Demchuk
