wow, your camera must be VERY old.
;p

Went out chasing a storm tonight over the California Delta. The storm broke up, naturally, but here was some of the sunset color.

Nice image, Mike ... as always

A question to you ... I know you have DFA 25mm as well, why you choose the 35mm instead for this image?
Just want to steal some of your brain, I guess ...

Wonderful images!

All these 645Z images are wonderful. Congratulations to the forum members who can afford or who have made the sacrifice necessary to own this marvellous camera. I am saving my pennies, and hope one day to join your ranks!

no particular reason i guess. I carry all my lenses in my pack on my back everywhere i go and when i pulled the camera out, the 35 happened to be on it so it shot this pic. The rest of the night I shot using the D-FA25 to get more sky, but I havent processed those pics yet.

regarding mats and frames, i like the image to stand on its own to provide the color, keeping mats to neutral grey or black. For twilight and night photos, i like the overall luminance of the mat to be less than the image, ie never a white frame which robs a dark scene of its luminance.
