Pentax 67II + 105mm, Fuji Pro 400h.

I love the "3D feel" of this lens...
Nice but you can tell your wife that you are not being unfaithful to her if you take a picture of someone else.

I know the feeling. But over half the people pictures I post I don't know the person in it. That's not a lot but all part of the challenge of getting people pictures I guess. Be friendly, assert yourself and perhaps some opportunities will open up.

Wet socks from this one!

Great photo--real prize winner! The interplay of water, rocks, sun, and clouds is quite stunning. I am sure this image makes you glad you made the investment and sacrifice to buy the marvellous 645!

Hi normhead, the final size was over 30,000 px on the long side. As for the Print, Im not 100% happy with it, So I will possibly try to re create it. :-)

Thats a lot of pixels. To print at 300dpi. that would be 100 inches wide, so it wouldn't fit on a 4x8 sheet of plywood. I'm guessing, you'd lose detail, because many details would be too small to see and possibly obliterated by bleeding ink.

Another P67II + 105mm.

Sun almost set as we went to DC to watch the July 4th fireworks,
we barely made it by parking our car couple miles away (cops blocks all entrance to the national mall area) and cycle in by bike...luckily we bring our bikes!
we then sit in the middle of the bridge to enjoy the fireworks.

After almost a year of waiting to get developed, I finally got my first ever roll of slide film back - Velvia shot in my 645. I like the strong colours but I honestly prefer the smoother colours from good print film. Fuji Pro 160NS show autumn colours much better, for example. I have another roll of 120 and one in 135 (both expired) and I'm sure I'll shoot them but at the moment I can't see myself buying any more. At €9 a roll and another €8 to develop, it's also very pricey indeed.

I don't know why everyone says slide film is so hard to scan - I found it much easier than print film, though I'll admit some of the colours I didn't get perfect (but that's Velvia, isn't it??)

Here are my favourites from the roll.
