It must have been pretty dark for an exposure of 1/8th at f5.6 and ISO 200. I shoot BW film without a light meter and the Sunny 11 rule a lot and in the shadows in daylight near sunset/sunrise I'd shoot 100 film at f5.6 1/30th for worst case.
Tuco , Thank you for review, I very much appreciate it.. as for the 1/8th shutter, I was pretty surprised myself. Thats what the camera gave while shooting in Aperture Priority. It was mostly a dark overcast day underneath a strong canopy of trees on a trail. I got down on my knees and held the camera as steady as I could while having it rest on a railing on the small bridge. This is an HDR image, (Only 2 images). the other shot was with a small on camera flash at a shutter speed of 1/50. Im posting another one here of a shot I took just prior to this one with an ISO of 6400 at F/18.
