Thanks!

I think the venerable 105/2.4 is the stand-out lens that makes the system to be honest.

Yesterday , all the cool low fog dissipated for sunrise, so nothing exciting.

Yes, it is called Beauchaille Etive Mhor, or The Shepherd of Etive Moor. Hope you had better weather than I did, the rain, hail was horizontal so I had to hunker down and wait till the clouds lifted a bit. The wind was still gusting at 60 mph so I had about 6 kg extra weight to keep the tripod steady.

Hey, Tom---

That is quite an interesting shot----the headlights aren't blowing things out, and the rest of the scene is subtly lit---including the parts the headlights are shining on. Could you share some details about how you set up this shot, if you did anything special? Thanks.
Hi texanddrews, Nothing special about this shot other than its a long exposure. I spent a little bit of time in post where I re-processed the same raw to get particular things looking more natural through out the scene.

Thanks

The rationale makes sense when you put it in that perspective. It had occured to me after posting my previous comment that you might like giving +1EV to portra as a general rule, hence the ISO, and that particular scene called for +1 on top of that. Total sense
sure! my wife and myself are both pretty 'introvert', we don't talk much and usually not very sure if we entertain our friends enough, but we try. ha!

It's not always the talker that are the most interesting people

At least, even if you don't speak much, your pictures are always absolutely great, so feel free to feed us with them, it's always a great pleasure
