I don't mean to nit-pick but why are people posting B&W images when what people really want to see is how the camera handles color and dynamic range.

I believe this thread is open to any medium format images, from any medium format cameras.
The thread was originally started before either the 645D or 645Z came out and was never a 645D or 645Z only thread.

My bad. It seems my brian works better in B&W in the fall. Just opposite from most shooters who love the changing of the leaves. It's a curse.

Me too, and if I were in a position to buy a camera like the 645 Z I'd be very interested in seeing what black and white images made with it looked like.

Some from County Mayo. Was intending getting to Connemara too, but spent too long on the Mayo coast on the Wild Atlantic Way. Learning to drive has been a revelation. I think I will look into taking a 1:1 course somewhere. My images are good, but I know they can be better.

Some of these are in Black and white, some scenes just work that way. Also this isn't a specific camera thread, and there are other threads out there that are specific to the Z. Also, the colour and dynamic range that the Z portrays does affect black and white images too.

I'm curious as to sensor dust and cleaning when changing lenses. How do you digital 645 folks deal with this?

thanks Susan. I change lenses very often when i'm on a shoot. I don't really worry about the dust on the sensor. It gets in there and makes a few spots. I clone 'em out of my pic and them use a rocket blower later when i sit down to prep my gear for the next outing. With my APS-C camera, i usually point it down and change quickly, but with this larger body, i keep the camera mounted on the tripod for stability and twist off the lens. stuff is blowing in there, but i try not to let it bother me.

I've got quite a bit of dust in mine, but haven't plucked up the courage to attack the sensor. I tried it with my D800E and ended up with more than I had before so took it into a shop....
