Thanks Rob.
I like that first one of yours.
Did you always have the 67II? I thought you had a 67?

645Z, 400mm A Heavily cropped. Obviously this camera isn't a wildlife camera This bird is actually on the road on a small island in the Yucatan in Mexico called Holbox. Heavy rains flooded many of the sand roads making them impassable by golf cart, the mode of transport on the island. I learned first hand that the roads were impassable

A rare capture and done perfectly. Really nice to marvel at nature.

Is this one shot or a stitch?

Gorgeous and I love the title.

Susan
Thanks susanb, this was a single frame, I shot a 10 frame stitch as it moved closer as well.

Thanks!

I swapped out the 67 for a 67ii about a year ago - I use it as a big SLR point-and-shoot mainly, so love the matrix metering and aperure priority.

Just saving up for a 75/2.8 AL now...

Some more from Mumbai - It's very difficult to be inconspicuous with the 645Z at the best of times, impossible when you have the 28 - 45 on board!

Cheers. Here's a similar shot on a NEX-5N and Zeiss Touit 32mm. Probably sharper, but not half as nice I think:

P67 at the Jefferson Memorial

Hello All, I've been away from the forum for a while and thought I'd return by posting here!

This is from the Jefferson Memorial, in Washington, DC

And one more...

A few from this afternoon/evening with the 645z. The first is taken with the HD DA 90mm macro and the other three with HD DA 28-45mm. I feel very luck to live within an hour's drive of Glencoe.

And a 5 shot portrait orientation panorama

Hi Andrew - was in Glencoe around a month ago , but no snow then! I have 645Z and tried it then with the 45mm FA 67 lens , but images were not so good....now have 90mm DFA macro which is much better...what are your impressions of the lenses you use?....any pointers for pre-sharpening or sharpening generally?....Ming Thein says he needs to pre-sharpen the 645Z and (Nikon)D810 images 'more' in ACR to get a good file for printing larger images. Thks Ian (in Boston, UK)
