Here's a portrait of a lady I have worked with this last 29 years, the only portrait I have done on 6x9 that I consider respectable.

Excellent environmental portrait, great natural expression. The lighting and tones really make the subject stand out.

I have a friend who swears by VSCO for his A7 output. Can't argue with the results.

For this next one I used the close-up lens I bought a while back, it's the only time I've used it so far and it focuses closer than I had imagined. I'm not sure I'll be able to use it much for the close-up portraits I had intended it for. I'll certainly need a tripod - this one came out well but it was hellish trying to focus without a tripod.

Beautiful Sunset yesterday afternoon here in Port Macquarie, NSW.
I was driving home from some shopping when I noticed the glow on the Horizon, I raced to the closest vantage point possible and grabbed this shot before the light faded.

the VSCO stuff is quite fun to play around with. Does it have camera profiles for 645Z? I know for my D800 I can select a camera profile instead of the presets and its a much nicer way to get the color rendering of those films but without the digital grain the presets try to add in that sometimes looks like crap.
