This picture from sunrise was originally taken in landscape orientation. But after looking at it a few days on the screen I wanted to try a crop in portrait format which gives the image a more graphical look I think. What do you guys mean ?

We've had a fair bit of rain over the last couple of weeks so the waterfalls are all running again, this spot isn't too far from where I live.
645z + 25mm lens 3 frame focus stack.

very lush scene and beautiful swirl in the water!

Got to shoot my 645Z at high ISO (@ 6400). Back button focus worked great for shooting music and didn't have that much AF hunting (about the same as a 5D MKII in dark conditions).

this is excellent. Would like to see more.

I like it too. Nice colors, textures and composition. Really grabs the eye!

Some from today. I left the house while it was still dark for the 50 minutes drive to Southerndown beach at Dunraven Bay. I caught some good light but would have got some predawn had I left a bit earlier.

I grabbed some breakfast at a cafe and then headed to Mynydd y Bombil on the outskirts of Port Talbot, but on some hiking boots and packed my new backpack. The F-Stop Tilopa. I've spent too long giving up comfort for accessibility, by using a shoulder bag stuffed with several lenses including the beast that is the 28 - 45, and the FA 45 - 85 is no lightweight either! I've given up some accessibility, but the pack is comfortable and I've used the largest ICU, and packed in the Z and the 28 - 45, FA45 - 85, FA 75, FA 80 - 160 and the FA 120 Macro. I strapped my big beast of a Manfrotto tripod and head, so no shortage of weight. Pretty comfortable and certainly more comfortable than the shoulder bag!

I really like the first two B&W conversions of Port Talbot.

I also have invested in the F-Stop Tilopa BC and the Large 'Slope' ICU for the 645z 28-45, 50mm and 90mm Macro, Lee Filters, Rocket Blower etc. There's room enough for more than that if needed. I have also invested in the Peak Design Capture Pro that locks onto the shoulder straps or the waist band and holds the camera with even the 28-45 mounted in a way that gives immediate access if needed. It may seem like a risk to many but I also have a PD slide strap on the camera so it's doubly protected from drops. But to be honest the Capture Pro clip is rock solid and it can be trusted once the proprietary PD Arca plate is engaged It's a great combination system for both comfort and access. Additionally having the 6.1 lbs of weight (Z and 28-45mm) mounted on the left shoulder strap balances weight fore and aft is, if anything, more comfortable.

Thank you. I will look into the clip, because I like to have the camera on hand.

I recently returned from a quick over night camp trip with few photographer friends. We went about an hour and a half west of where I live on a beautiful property filled with mountains and a refreshing creek to swim in. This was taken the morning we packed up and headed home. The moon rose about an hour before the sun came up and I was there to capture this scene.
