This is the St Clair River bordering Ontario Canada and Michigan USA

The A120 macro at f4 produces beautiful creamy bokeh with pin point sharpness, isolating the subject.

Below is the shot with 2 sets of extension tubes and A120 macro, uncrop.

Have finally managed to get my Jobo ATL-1500 film processor up and running. Here's one from my first batch: Bjørn the dog - a happy and playful Golden Retriever:

Camera: Pentax 645N
Lens: smc Pentax-A 645 150mm F3.5
Exposure: 1/90 @ F5.6
Film: Kodak Portra 160 dev. in DigiBase C-41 in Jobo ATL-1500

Got up at 5.30 this morning to make the 1 hr drive to Llantwit Major on the Heritage Coast of South Wales. The forecast was for clear weather, but I was hoping for a little bit of interest in the sky - it being clearer meant I would need to get there at least an hour before sunrise to get the best light. Sunrise time coincided with high tide. The tide rises VERY quickly here and I got my feet wet a few times. Wearing Goretex ankle boots, but the water went over the top. I do have wellington boots, but they take too long to put on, especially in the dark.

I picked a location where the Col Huw river meets the sea.
