This Image is captured from the other side of the building of my original fine art image ~ Bullets in The Wind ~ .

Trying to find beauty in ordinary structures of an ordinary regional town.

Loving this series Thomas, especially knowing a little of your area.

Another dull day today, my last in the lakes. Tomorrow am heading home, via Johnson's Photopia who are Pentax's agents. Apparently they will clean my sensor free of charge if I drive all the way home pick up the warranty card and then drive back. So it will cost me £50+ tax. It has to be done as there is so much dust on the sensor it's becoming impossible to get rid of it all.

Went to Lodore Falls near Keswick. Not much rain recently so they get evermore dramatic than this.

0.4 secs

I returned after lunch to see what less light would do...

10 secs

On the way back to Ambleside the light was quite nice and the Helvellyn range could be seen starting to creep out of the cloud

Am going through older photographs and seeing what they look like with the Huelight profiles. Most are vasty superior with few exceptions. i took my camera in to Pentax's UK service reps today to get he sensor cleaned. As I suspected, it was filthy. There were hundreds of specks of dust, and they spent 4 hours cleaning it, and have said that they would have liked to have kept it for a day or two as there are still a few specks left.

Anyway for comparison purposes here is a shot from October processed similarly but the first os Adobe's default, the second is huelight high contrast

Here is an old Franka folder from 1952 with a triplet lens that should terrify the 645Z crowd. I used Ektar100

I've been shooting more Kodak Ektar 100 lately. Mostly in scenarios with more vibrant colors and less dynamic range. I'm really liking how some of the images are coming out.

Pentax 6x7 / 105mm @ f/16.5 on Kodak Ektar 100
