What a wonderful photo. I wish I was there and also makes me wonder what the view is like off to the right.

Probably you would be disappointed; it's not that spectacular as you perhaps might think...

I returned to a location I was at a few weeks ago at sunrise and high tide, but this time at sunset and high tide, Llantwit Major, on the South Wales coast. This time I wore my wellington boots and that saved me from most of the splashes (though not all)

This image was taken the same day as my popular Cave image. Here is my mate Luke from Drifting Pixels sussing out the scene. This behind the scenes picture gives you a different perspective of the seascape.

I ran a roll of Portra 400 through my 124G on a trip to Granada (Spain) at the end of last year and just got round to scanning them. I have to say I'm very happy with the results - I can't remember the last time I was so pleased with a single roll of film.

I like this one Mike . . . kind of a Jack Dykinga image of the bay.

I didn't know that name but after a quick search through his photos, I take your comment as a tremendous compliment. thanks. The man likes his strong foregrounds. It is a great style.

Yes, Jack is the master with strong foreground and in focus backgrounds, especially in the Sonoran Desert. I like the negative space between the rocks and the bridge. It adds life to both of them.
