Whilst it does nothing but rain and howl with wind the Pentax 645z and HD 90mm Macro can hunt out places where the branches are still and the rain adds some drama.

That should mean the Falls of Falloch will be dramatic soon then.

Yes, unfortunately I can't get over that way for the next few days with other work commitments. Maybe it will stay wet enough to keep them interesting until then. Actually I had planned to go there on Sunday but life got in the way.

I have been looking for some sand dunes to photograph for a while now, the ones with out foot prints walking all through them. I decided to go check out a spot near where I go surfing/camping often. I let the air down in my tires and drove through a winding soft sand track that led to this scene. As I waited for the sun to drop I counted the circling eagles overhead. The only other foot prints out there where not human, Lizards .. Dingo's and snake tracks criss crossing over the dunes.

Forecast is for plenty of showers, so the falls should be 'well stocked'. Originally the forecast was for Scotland to get the bulk of the showers, but this system is further south than originally forecast.

A nice fall day in 2002 I think. Pentax 645N FA 75/2.8.

Beautiful night but a missed opportunity. I couldn't find an interesting enough foreground. I wish I'd had a smaller format available so that I could get closer to the foreground while maintaning enough DOF. Pentax 645NII. 33-55 zoom lens.

Fantastic bird shots with the 400mm vcollerp.

Playing around with the FA 645 75mm 2.8 not long ago. Taken at 2.8.

Very interesting composition and I like the abstract nature of the shot.
