Very wet in Venice so the 645Z hasn't left the hotel room. This was taken from my balcony:

645Z 28 - 45

Great Image. Did you use HDR for this?

This is a manual blend of 2 exposures (0 and -2ev). Lens is the old A75 on the 645D.

Trying hard to emulate the lab scans with my flatbed scans, but it's hard work.. I scan maxed out with no color corrections to a large tif file then tweak like crazy in my raw editor and get as close as I can...

noritsu lab scan:

my epson 4870 scan:

(Portra 400NC - Yashica Mat 124G)
Great shot! my shots in the shadow (in forest) so far always have heavy tinted green...
(and very good work on scanning)

No. Haven't used HDR once with the Z. Don't need to!

Not perfect by any means. Handheld, ISO 1600, f 4.5. 1/25th sec with the 645Z and 90mm Macro. Well the 90mm macro is wonderful but uncompromising. The dog does not sit still. Black dog photography is tough at the best of times. But everything about the Z makes it more practical, and SR in the 90mm makes it possible.

Same settings but 1/15th of a second. Yes more blur, but still more latitude in the RAW file and usable to a degree

A reworking, using huelight 61 lightroom profiles of an older 5 x vertical shot pano with the 645Z and HD 28-45mm. View of the sun setting down Glen Etive from Rannoch Moor
