I finally joined the forum today after months lurking and enjoying this great thread! Thanks to all for the fantastic photographs. I'm hopeful to be a new 645z owner very soon and contribute. Thanks for the inspiration and, unfortunately, spending my money.

The brick house is 2 shots stitched, and the river/stream one is 4 shots stitched.

Rez is just silly on the full size files. web doesn't do it justice but what the heck.

Both with 55mm at f/16 on 645z.

Nice images here Gavin, They look clean !

Went out with just the 645Z, one prime lens and all my Lee Filters this evening, down to one of my regular haunts. Had some pasta and ice cream at a good italian cafe while I waited for the light. The prime lens? It was the FA 45 f/2.8 which doesn't get a lot of love on here, basically because the FA 45 - 85 is so good. But it is a good, if not stellar lens. I think the digital world bothers itself too much with 'tack' sharpness.

The tide moves so fast - the Bristol Channel has the 2nd largest tidal range in the world, and it's easy to be caught out. At this location, it's safer to walk the tide out than the other way in. The tide moved 200m in less than 15 minutes, so there isn't long to set up. You have to stay mobile...
Excellent! That tidal range is amazing. Love all of the images.

Yes mike, my first coin stacking and I did it in small increment, manually using 67 100 macro f4 with life size adapter.. It's a 10 cents coin and that was the original output. I do like the output and have not use Lightroom to enhance the colors.. It has lots of detail.. Other stacks has more shots to it.. Am new to coins stacking but I may try watches too.. For a start I quite like the result, just my personal opinion😄😃

Beautiful photograph and subject Joe. Enjoying the 150mm? I'm planning to make that one of my first purchases when I get the 645z.

This can explain better than I ever could. I'm sure others with much more experience with Focus Stacking will pitch in with some advice too.
