wow! -45, that's way from the -15 we get here, it's mostly the rain and dampness which attacks my camera's in this west-euro region. thanks for the answers
10 years in Greenland and extensive travels from south to North will give you that
Moved back to warm Europe february this year

We get somewhat close to those temps here sometimes. I have seen -37F. I have the camera (k-5/3) out in the -20's somewhat regularly but much colder than that it's not the camera that fails, it's usually my fingers! A friend who lives here has his Z out in those conditions and it hasn't been a problem for him that I have heard.

Fuji GSW 690....
No batteries at all, all mechanical, spring based.
Works without **any** problem in -25 - not checked in -45.
I'm from Poland, and -33 was a record few Year ago, and I didn't have been in Russia with Fuji.
And with that Fuji on lets say -30, You fingers will fail, while camera will keep shooting.... 8 frames and good luck to change film at -40

Long time 645 user, Velvia lover. Just bought a 645D on buy sell from fellow forum member and received it yesterday.

Only had time for a few shots around the house yesterday.

All with A series 120 f4 macro:

Garden gnome

Frogs in bird bath

Leaves on deck

Garden flower

I think I am going to like this camera. Still miss Velvia but this is so much faster.
Now to save some money for FA lenses, they are expensive.
I will be manually focusing my A series lenses for a while.
Thank you to forum member, reasonable deal and nice camera.

Velvian - Keeping my name, may Velvia never die.

That one has a paint-like quality to it; intriguing.
