That is indeed a spiffing pic!

My thanks to Itshimitis, Mike, revdocjim and BostonUKshooter - and all the people who clicked 'Like'. Your positive feedback is much appreciated! It was just one of those moments when being in the right place at the right time was a thing of beauty...

And no, a lightning detector was not used. Just old fashioned approaches involving a sequence of long exposures and hoping to catch it.

I should have tried the 2x tc again for this but he left before I could get it out.
645D & A 200/4

Sadly I may need some time off from this camera since I broke my clavicle this afternoon skiing. Dang.

I found this photo in my packet where I keep my 'Medium Format' transparencies -- it has never been scanned before -- I used my 6x7 Mk II = 135mm f4 SMC Macro-Takumar and outdated Fuji Velvia 50 and a 'Center-Spot Cerise' filter.

I was run off my bicycle and fractured my clavicle in a very awkward way that meant I almost needed surgery. It took me 8 months to get over it, and still get some frozen shoulder now. Hope you fare better...I know just how painful that is...

Frame it up and print it big. That is gorgeous...

Took these with my trusty 645, on Rollei Retro 80s dev'd in Rodinal. It was a grey day, I would like to take these again, I'm not super happy with how they turned out.
