Two images from one shot taken yesterday. I know accepted wisdom is to choose one, but I like both...

Pentax 645Z DFA 35 1/4 f/16 It was VERY windy and I almost returned the tripod to the car, but held on to it in case. I decided to use it, but to not extend it at all. i like the colours in the first but I also like the texture of the wet sand (the tide was only just turning back as low tide was 30 minutes prior to this) which the BW makes the most of...

The highlights on the beach texture are great!

Thanks very much - I think this tone and texture capture is one of the advantages over 35mmFF.

I do wonder if the crop is just a tiny bit tight, so have re-cropped:
