#3 stands out for me. Great use of a wide angle look with leading lines and the blue tone is striking.

Nice!
Those clouds look like a lot more than 8s. I love it when they do that!

I caught sunrise by our lake which is 17 miles long. The close end is frozen but about half way to the other end there is open water. At -18F it produces a nice cloud of steam!

645D & A 35/3.5

I think my poor wife was regretting coming along at this point.

Fantastic light, color and atmosphere. Great shots, especially that of your freezing wife, it was worth it.

A simple black & white head shot from today's session
150mm lens
4 lights
a little skin re-touch

With such a pretty face, it's a struggle to get a bad shot

Ed, that one is surreal and beautiful!

mattb, the one with your wife is very nice. She is a great sport and likely still helping you lug gear due to your injury, right?
My wife went once with me and never again...

Just what I thought Mike-surreal. Then I looked at your Flicker collection Ed and found you have plenty more displaying an inspiring, creative gift.

This is great, reminds me of the mean Banksia Men from Snuggle Pot and and Cuddle Pie.

Tom, what a lovely portrait.
Thanks! She is a great sport but I'm not sure if she will be up for any more subzero dawn patrols with me. She said she never got warm all day after that.
Fortunately for me I can carry my stuff a couple hundred yards on my own now so it will be back to mostly solo missions. Company is nice but I don't really want to share the decision making when I'm doing my thing so maybe it's for the best.
