Almost managed to nail focus on Ellroy's eyes as he ran headlong towards me. Again with the FA 645 150mm 2.8 and the Z.

Picked up a "new to me" FA 45-85 last week and was able to put a roll through the 645n over the weekend. She's not running like Unkipunki's, but anyone with a dog knows they're always moving, so I was really surprised this came out at 1/60.

Lately I've really been enjoying Fuji Acros 100 through my 645N.

Nice. I also bought my first 645 within the past year and love shooting with it. It came with the 45 mm 2.8 wide angle. I also picked up an 80-160 zoom.

I have enjoyed the 645 so much I finally bit the bullet and ordered a mint-in-box 645N from Japan, eagerly awaiting its arrival next week. For lenses, I have the A-200, the A-80-160mm, and the A-55mm. I guess now I will start looking for something in auto focus, probably the FA 75mm. Any advice on what AF lens to buy will be gratefully received . . . or if you happen to have one for sale?

I have none for sale, sorry. But you should definitely get the 75---it's small and light and just fine, usually inexpensive used, very moderately priced new.
Another must have, imo, is the 45-85. Dead useful, very good, and can be found not too painfully used (I got mine for under $500usd I think, certainly not much more than $600). The only knock is that it's on the heavier side. The 80-160 is similarly useful, but not quite as good, and heavier, but you already have the A version, so maybe not worth it to pursue. The 150 is another to consider. Fairly compact, decent lens, not very expensive.

Thanks for these comments. I think I will start looking for the 75 right away. I am not sure I will try for anything much longer in AF because for either landscape or portraiture, I almost always use manual focus for 35 or 645 anyway. If I work with the three A lens I have as well as the AF 75, I think it will become more clear what other AF if any will be useful. I think the AF 75 will be useful for handheld use of the 645. I find that manual focus with the 80-160 zoom makes a kit that is fairly heavy to hold with one hand while focussing with the other.

My only AF 645 lenses are the 45-85 and 80-160 and I think they are both great. $5-600 each and well worth it IMO.

Ok, I found something interesting tonight going through my photos. I was trying out that 67 300/4 lens and inadvertently got a shot of this fast moving plane by the moon. There's a AF base not that far so my guess is some kind of fast military aircraft. I didn't even notice it when shooting but I was trying to hurry before the moon got any higher.
Here's the whole shot:

Ummmm....the more I see it, the more I think it's almost just right. The fact that the moon is partly obscured makes it better, imo. I think some judicious selective editing (Horrors! Post processing!) might push a bit of tonality around in this image to make it a stunner.
