Really lovely series there. I love the look low clouds give mountain shots and you really captured the feeling well.

Very nice shot, ya got here. I really need to start doing my own developing... My cabin fever shots, plus those of my snowed in neighborhood are awaiting my ability to get the roll to the lab. I've got the same basic setup as you, though. 645N, FA 45-85 and usually shooting Acros 100.

Thanks. We dodged the big snow bullet this time, but the freezing cold is what keeps me inside. Good time to develop film and scan.

The Falls shot is terrific. The others are nice, but the falls takes the prize--- challenging and excellent composition that presents the viewer with something a bit unexpected.

Something a little different

Hi guys, I thought I'd post one of my recent images. It's a mixed media project, where the background is a macro shot of tree bark that I've discovered on a photo hunt last month. The creatures where created and rendered with 3D software and everything was combined in Photoshop. I come from photography and only started with 3D recently in order to expand my creative possibilities. I want to say the tools aren't as important as the idea/concept behind a project, but I simply adore my 645z...

Columbia River Gorge Waterfall

I captured this image yesterday with 645Z and 28-45 while getting out to familiarize myself with the new 645Z's layout, controls and lenses. It is everything I envisioned it to be and a welcome break from DSLR's.

Isn't the Pentax 645Z a DSLR . . . or am I mis-understanding something? I know my 645N is not a DSLR. :>)
