NICE! Do you live nearby? When did you go? The time I visited Maine, the couple of times we swung by the lighthouse it was packed with people.

Thanks. That was taken yesterday. Go when the weather is crappy and you don't have to retouch any people out!

The facial expression on the second one is quite intriguing.
Nice capture.

After a week with only my smaller gear in Florida I'm back home to my 645D. Still pretty snowy here but the temperatures are rising and the ice is starting to recede.

Just in from 3 days in Yosemite to catch the rare Horsetail Fall firefall event.

Here's how it looked on Saturday:

I've forgotten the name of this waterfall in Washington state. Franka Solida III and Fuji 160NS.

Nice! I remember a Yosemite firefall from my youth--when they weren't so rare.

Hey, Mike---that's a good one of this event. I've seen others that just had the water lit up, but I like the way you have caught other bits: the the orange glow on parts of the rock face, especially that bit at the top; the more subtle lighting of the rock face to the left of the lower portion of the falls; and then really cool is the light on the left side of the tree.

All those things set your image apart from a lot of the others I've seen.

From a church in Münster that was bombed rebuilt and painstaking repainted. I took this in a slightly different way, lying on my back with the camera on my chest while I held my breath:
