Years back, I did a whole series of these with the Pentax 67 and 135mm macro lens to show depth of field - here are the extremes, at f/4 and f/32 - moderately interesting to see now

f/4

f/32

Inspiring handheld results. Did you go to mime or sniper school?

That's not the Golden Corral. I went to one once and there are a lot more heavy set people and more food as well...

(Great shot)

Hi
The 645 400mm 5.6 at about 4m. Not bad for a $900 lens.

"Golden Corral" is well named Mike. A beautiful photograph, thanks for showing.
I've noticed this glowing quality in some of your other work too and it's always captivating. Is this type of color from your preference and processing or does it happen more naturally because you are after all in the "Golden State"?

thanks! I definitely favor a warm color palette in my processing, so perhaps I don't even notice that anymore because it is how I see the world.

This one from this morning had a gold glow too

A late afternoon walk with some provia, the 67ii and 165/4 LS

And a double exposure from a test roll of portra 400 shot on a recent Zeiss Ikon Nettar 518/16 IIb repair project
