OK, here's my first (posted) shot with the 645Z (and my A*300/4). It's a view I've been wanting to capture for quite some time. Not quite the angle & field of view I was hoping for but it's a start. An AF lens (or at least catch-in focus) would have been helpful shooting in the middle of the road.

Not real familiar with medium format focal lengths, but that appears to be a moderate wide angle rather than a telephoto.

It's roughly equivalent to what a 230mm lens would show on a 35mm FF if my calculations are correct - 100mm 'equivalent' to 87mm on 35mm

Well, looking at the exif, I guess you're right. My bad I had used the FA 55 but thought it was too wide so switched to the 300. In the final analysis, I guess I preferred the wide view. Getting a feel for the MF perspective is a bit of a challenge.
