Nice. Much vertical cropping needed due to (handheld) rotation/misalignment?

A fair bit, but knew the risk, so comes the advantage of shooting in portrait, so much more flexibility. A steam boat came in just after this, pity wasn't while shooting!

A few shots taken over the last couple of weeks around the home area whilst still not very mobile due to health issues. Things are improving though so hopefully I'll be going further afield soon. All taken with the FA 150 2.8 except for the night shot which was with the 28-45mm. Spring is eventually arriving and the snow is retreating. The pastel coloured shot was with a Lee 6 stop mounted resulting in a 30s exposure.

Love this image, and the variety of textures is fantastic. Can you share your technique for preparing this jpeg for forum posting? You have retained an incredible amount of detail and sharpness.

Cheers,
Ross

Lovely shots mate. Had notification that Lee are releasing a 15 stop filter. You'd be able to shoot the eclipse with that!

Thanks. Yes I heard about that filter and the curious tag line that you can make a 17hour exposure with it. You can I suppose, but only if the smell of melting sensor is something you're after.

You'd also need to run the camera from a car battery - good luck dragging that down to a secluded beach!

A couple more from the lakes. Went on another trip with Mark Littlejohn and we spent some time chasing the light, but never really catching it.

Hello!
I really enjoy this thread, there are some amazing pictures here.
I've never shot mediumformat before, and not much film either, for that matter. I bought an old 645 a couple of weeks ago, and recently got some rolls developed. Not to happy with all the photos, and not to happy with all the scans either... live and learn. '
Anyway, here are some of them:
