Ahaha that is a fully adequate explanation.
I was making an accompanying video stream (via Periscope) demonstrating focus bracketing, so purposely found a comp with some very close foreground. My on camera skills obviously need work, but it was a good first run for some future explanatory vids.

I am not sure if this can be played without having the app, but here's me after rolling out of bed at 0400 and driving 2hrs, lol:

For both those reasons. I like how the 120 renders in pano/expansion. :-)

thanks. I open them in Photoshop and choose FILE>Scripts>Load files into Stack...
then add open files and click the "auto align" <-- very important since the FOV has shifted with change in focus

After that, in the layers window, i select all the layers i want to blend and click EDIT>Auto Blend Layers
click the Stack choice and check the seamless tones box

PS does a decent job blending but occasionally i get some out of focus areas. If i want to be very sure to get a good blend, i create a simple mask for each layer, blocking out the large areas i know are OOF in each layer; that way PS will only work with the portion of the layer I designate.

Hope that makes sense. It sounds way more complicated than it is.

I have helicon focus, zerene stacker and star staxx for similar work, but when Photoshop gets it right, i prefer using it instead.

I got rained on tonight and just had the 45-85 on the camera so I tried to block as much as I could but it got kind of wet.
Seems ok, I wiped it off when I got home and left it without the caps on to air out a little with no visible moisture inside. When I took it off I could see traces of moisture on the metal ring of the lens mount but none in the body. Hopefully I got out of the rain just in time. It was clear a again a few minutes later.

Very nice. Are you trying it out before making a decision to get one for yourself?
One of my YouTube subscribers loaned it to me so that I could make a video series about it. He loaned me his 67II this weekend and I'll have that until May.

I was lukewarm on the 645 NII. I can't fault anyone for liking but I use medium format differently than the 645 is set up for. My biggest complaint about the 645 is that there's no interchangeable film backs, so I couldn't take a black and white and color photo of the same subject like I can with the Mamiya RB67, for example.
