I'm impressed with how sharp (as well as a great looking picture) this is considering it's a pano @ 1/80th sec, ISO 100. What is your technique?

I pull my arms right in against my chest and don't breathe very much during the shots. I quite often handhold at 1/13 with this lens, not on a pano generally, but i restrict my breathing during the shot. I actually find the bulk of the Z helpful for this...

Wonderful panos 'Ishi'. If, as I suspect, you are a professional singer then I presume you have this controlled breathing lark down pat!

I agree those handheld panos are impressive! Nice work. I almost always shoot my D on a tripod.

One more from the lake with the A 35

Singer indeed!

Ishimitis is an international assassin working for various un-named western governments to remove major drug traffickers, arms dealers and other such nasty riff-raff.

reaching the stage where I can't remember what I've already rolled out of the old 6x7s, so I'll have to stop soon, but they , so don't get much of an airing, so I'lldo a few more anyway - this is an old disused farmhouse in the wilds of the Karoo - 67 + 55mm, Velvia 50

Incidentally - you'll note that kit was sunset - driving back to the main road in the old Passat (not the brightest headlights ever made) was a bit hairy - but memorable

Ohio creek 645N

Here are a few from a creek shoot about three weeks ago, a little stream that forms the back border of our country place in northern Ohio.

KIT: Pentax 645N with Pentax-A 55mm f 2.8 and Kodak Ektar 100 mostly at around 1/125 sec., f 4.5.

You're welcome. Actually I think I saw that piece of detail from your Flickr profile or somewhere similar ...my clairvoyant powers aren't so well developed otherwise!

Back on the photo theme and continuing the bird theme (nice egret shots littledrawe), here's a beautiful Desert Owl called Cersei.

I had the pleasure of her flying onto my arm a number of times during tourist participation at a falconry display in Dubai.
