In the mood for an elk shot? The FA 200mm - I bought this lens for pictures with the auto focus which is invaluable when there isn't a lot of time for manual focusing.

These are West Coast Roosevelt Elk. This was a picture of opportunity as they were close to the road. During hunting season they will be elsewhere!

Good catch! I saw several hundred of them while hiking a couple of weeks ago. Looked like we stumbled onto the nursery with lots of cows and calves. Unfortunately I had to devote my attention to ensuring my dog wasn't going to harass them and didn't get a photo. Fortunately my efforts with the dog were successful!

I'll go with the trails too. On the water I prefered the shot without and I think that (for me personally) water is a natural feature and it appeared adulterated whilst roads are meant for cars so trails aren't out of place.
