Sorry, fresh out. Can I interest you in a grubby alleyway? No? How about some parched lawns in suburbia?

Thanks Thomas - I was wishing I was on top of one of the mountains as the sky was very dramatic that evening after a very warm sunny (but thankfully not cloudless) day.

Around here on the rare occasion where the sky is cloudless, people always say : "Perfect day for your camera!" How little do they know! They then say something like: "I bet that big camera takes beautiful photos!"

Some more from the last few days. We had more beautiful skies (Mike you can have them when I'm done with them lol) night before last and I set about doing some panos once the tourists had left Castlerigg Stone Circle.

All with Z and DA 28 - 45 and all handheld

4. Looking down on St Johns-in-the-Vale before I shot the panos.

5. Yesterday at Derwentwater in Keswick

Really nice set. You really must have a great camera!

I like grubby alleyways but have a hard time finding compelling landscapes in suburbia.

Our last photo together.

My beloved golden, Fenris, died Tuesday evening. I took this photo 3 days before he died. It's at the local dog park, one of his favorite places.
That's so difficult when we lose a friend like that. What a great photo in remembrance. Condolences.

First test rool with a Kiev 88C, Biometar 80mm, FP125....not metered.

Out of curiosity, would you say these shots have the medium format "pop"?

You guys are too funny! But I'll take the compliments, nonetheless But if I ever cook you a good steak, don't be crediting the grill!

Thee are plenty of attractive oak trees in this area. This one is a family of them - not sure whether it is parent and siblings or grandparent and young parent.

Z and 28 - 45
