Well here's a pano that wasn't done on a tripod - mainly because I did this one stood on a ship on Ullswater:

5 shot pano with Z and FA 80 - 160. One normal and one desaturated...

Indeed you did read it correctly. It was pretty dark. I also had a field of cows around me!

after 1.5 months of straight blank clear skies, we FINALLY had clouds roll in very briefly during sunset. yea!

Mike, Your description in Flickr says that you manually blended two shots. Was there no wind? How did you do that?
