Hi Jonathan

The Yashica MAT 124G is a surprising good camera for that low price. I bought mine in mint (nearly new) condition for $ 150.- . And the pictures are very sharp.

I find it excellent, though I yearn for something with an f/2.8 lens (or faster) in medium format. Maybe one day....

I paid 100 GBP for my first one including seven rolls of Portra 160NC in 220 format, which are almost worth that price on their own. My second one I got more recently on its own for €75. I've seen them for sale for much, much more than that so I consider both of mine very lucky bargains.

I haven't been posting lately. Figured I'd get a couple recent scans of old pictures up. Taken on either a rolleiflex mx or 6008.

Got my Pentax 6x7 about 3 weeks ago. Never used one before and here are my first shots from my first roll. So dont expect too much. Using the 90mm shutter lens.

Congratulations on the 6x7 - I think a 6x7 (well, a 67II, really) would be my dream camera.

The last three look quite over-exposed and have a blue colour shift (quite possibly due to the over-exposure). Maybe you need to review whatever method you're using to set the exposure?

Here's one from me - taken on the Sognefjord (fjord of dreams) in Norway with the Yashica Mat 124G on Portra 160 film.
