No, I have never seen one of these leaf insects in the park over the years, locally. Those images captured here are from the Butterfly Park and Insect Kingdom, Sentosa, Singapore. They import from overseas and a special permit from the authority is required to bring in these insectS for display to tourist. Within the butterfly park and insect kingdoms, housed a mini museum for other critters, like stick insects of various types, Dragon grasshopper, scorpions, beetles and many other lives insects and lots of different species of butterfly and moth from other countries. I do have a little privilege to have access to this insects here, somehow for my macro photography works .

645D with A45mm

Great film shot by Bonner04 with the 45mm. The 45mm never gets the love of the 35 or the 55, but still I find it to be a great landscape lens. I have both A and FA versions, but prefer the A version for manual focussing and for the superior build compared to the FA version.

Here are three digital snaps with the 645D and the A version of the lens.

Beautiful big pups Ishimitis!

Ok, I used my P645D for the first time in many months yesterday.

Here are two images.

Which one is taken with the P645D?

I am saying B, but based mainly on the larger frame, including water. However, your (implicit) point is well taken--K-1 quality is capable of challenging medium format. I have found this to be true when using 645/67 lenses on the K-1 rather than on my 645D. The K-1 also offers SR, pixil shift, and (for me) the top dial that allows exposure adjustments with the touch of my thumb.

I'm guessing "A" but it would be hard to know since you have that other variable...two different lenses.
This is with the assumption "B" is the K-1 with a newer design lens optimized for digital.

I now see you used a non-Pentax lens so my assumption was incorrect. Very interesting.

Ivanvernon is correct, Image B is the P645D photo. I agree that P645 and P67 lenses are great to use with the K-1, as indeed are P67 lenses with the P645!

Image B: P645D, A75 f/2.8 at f11

Image A: K-1, FA77 f/1.8 Ltd at f11.

I believe for the Image A / B test I copied the white balance and tint values from the P645D shot to the K-1 (in Lightroom). Despite that, I prefer the blue sky in the P645D image.

Full size images are using WB as shot.

K-1, FA77 f/1.8 Ltd, f11

My fear that I would not use my P645D after buying the K-1 are largely proven, however it's still a pleasure to use the 645D.
