Thanks. It's a miracle I got an eclipse picture at all.

I spent two days scouting for a landscape that would let me look up. I found a spot. It was on the edge of some farm land common to a public road. I have my gear set up, the eclipse is starting and a farmer comes out and decides now is the time to spray his field with chemicals starting just where I'm at. I had 30 minutes to find a new location and subject and this is what I got.
That sounds rather suspect on the part of the farmer.

Good job getting your shot!

No polariser on. I used the one in Nik Color efex. For a software one it's pretty effective.
Thanks, good to know and I will try it.

I really like this in BW as it reminds me of an etching.

Very nice. I like it a lot. Would be even nicer if you could lose that window in the background. It is as little distracting and does not really add anything to your work.

The window is no problem for me. I am drawn to her eyes immediately regardless of its presents.

Personally I prefer the composition of the sunrise (set?) with the 300mm.

Some flowers with the 75mm LS

Here are a few flower photos taken as test shots this morning for my new Pentax 645 75mm f 2.8 LS (leaf shutter) lens. These photos are in the nature of test shots to see whether/how the new LS setup works. It works, so next step will be trying it out on live people.

KIT: Pentax 645D with Pentax 645 75mm f 2.8 LS, taken at LS 1/500, ISO 400, and f 11.0.
