Nice to see what the 200-A can do. I have that lens as well as the FA version, but have not had a chance to try them out on any such spectacular scenery! The 200-A does not seem to get much love, but your work sure seems to refute the criticisms it sometimes gets. These landscapes are simply fantastic!

Thanks! Mine even has a little fungus around the edges but that may not be in the image circle of the D.

Hi Matt,

May I ask what program you used to process your 645D shots?

Thanks

I bought an A* 300/4 from the marketplace here and the 1.4x tele converter specific to that lens.
Just got a few shots off tonight but it seems good so far on my 645D.

Great landscape with the 300*/4. I have acquired a used copy of the FA version, so it is interesting see what its older brother is capable of. I am having trouble locating scenery to justify using it, but hope to do so in the future.

Great use of it - I love mine, you just have to be very careful with focussing as the focus ring on mine is quite lightweight and you have to really precise with it. The focus confirmation beep helps a little...

Yeah, I feel like I need room to use it although I had the 67 300 before this so I had some local shots in mind. Hoping to line something up for the full moon rise this month too.

I noticed that. Focus confirmation is definitely key! The 67 focus ring is much more damp but I'm hoping this one will work out ok too.
