Very nice as usual, Mike

Am back in the lake district now, starting to go through some of my images.

This location is visited by many photographer frequently so they will not be terribly unique...

1. Pentax 645Z DA 28 - 45 Lee GND and Landscape polariser... f/5.6 ISO 200 0.8s - didn't want to turn the water straight to cream...

2. f/8 0.5s ISO 125

3. f/11 1/4 ISO 100

why this film was out of production the past couple years? Good to have it back!
...
This was likely due to the delay between the Kodak bankruptcy and the establishment of Kodak alaris by the UK Kodak Pension Plan. See Kodak - Wikipedia for some of the background. My Portra data sheets are all labeled "Kodak alaris."

Thanks guys...

Here are a couple from above Glenfinnan monument...

1. Z and 28 - 45

2. BW

3. FA150 f/2.8

I like both the color and B&W of the same shot, gives a whole different mood with each, and the third shot, the cloud looks like a giant creature opening up to feast

Nice posts, guys. SF truly has some amazing fog.

I re-scaned these from a few years ago and replaced them on Flickr. Testing a hack to my scanner's negative carrier.

Both Pentax 67 55/4, 400TMY

Yeah, I haven't purchased a roll in a long time. I still have a few rolls of some old inventory though. But 100TMX today is not quite the same as the first generation of Kodak's tabular grain films. i've scanned some of my older 100TMX films and I can feel somethings a little different.

Insanely good shot, Mike. The sort of picture that makes me angry and full of hatred that I didn't take it ;-)

I really like the second shot tuco, those guys look like they are good pals. What is the resolution on that one at your highest scan?

The largest for that shots says 1024x814, so just wondered if there was a higher rez file.

Thanks. They are the Seattle Cossacks Stunt Team that apparently have been a part of Seattle since WWII. I asked them to strike a pose and they were more than willing.

I uploaded new images on Flickr that are a larger image size for you to take a look at and updated the smaller links here for that. Flickr really discriminates against 6x7 images. You have to upload to one of their fixed sizes. And if you don't they recompress the crap out of your image when they scale it down to what they want. The 1024px images above are scaled down by Flickr and not as good when I originally uploaded that size. But when I upload a 3:2 aspect from my 6x9, they seem to do a better job.

Its a bummer when you can't always show full image quality. My wife just happened to walk by me and saw the photo and said "that black and white photo looks really good". I then explained that the photo was taken with the same model of camera that I just got shipped from Japan
