Thanks, Mike. That XP shot is a classic! I swear operating systems from Windows and Mac are getting worse for the end user not better.
I think the OS are potentially better, but UI are for iPhone users, despite the best thing about Windows being it isn’t ‘user centric’. I think Windows 10, if updated is very stable compared even to Mac. I run Full autocad suite on W10 and it is, for the first time ever, stable.

I'm not talking about stability. The operating systems are being given away. It's now their terms for you getting it free. They'll do what's in their best interest over yours. Your control over the operating system and privacy are the last things on their mind I'd say.

The Colors of a Wildfire

Wheeler Canyon, Santa Paula. Santa Paula was the origin of the "Thomas Fire" that ended up
being the largest wildfire in California's history.

Impressions from Cuidad Satelite Santa Rosa, Callao, Peru (satelite town designed by and under the 2nd government of Presidente Belaúnde, who was architect, too, in the 1980s).

A rescanned picture to a new work flow. This is a picture of the dress; not girl that was made for Halloween. I did it in color with my digital camera for her but asked one be taken for me with this camera.

Hasselblad 500C/M, CF 150/4, 400TMY, Pentax YG filter

Some from Rhosilli in South Wales, UK

1. Pentax 645Z FA 150 f/2.8

2. A crop from this shot

3. DA 28-45

4.

5.

6. exposure of just under 20 minutes. did try a longer one with the DA 25 but the battery ran out - the annoying thing with the Z is that it leaves the shutter open and the display still showed 2 bars, but couldn't release the shutter without removing the battery, so the exposure of 40+ minutes wasn't stored.
