Out on a walk tonight. The ice is receding although the past couple of nights have been pretty cold.

Impressed by how you keep producing images that, while they cohere as a recognisable body of work, are nonetheless varied. Lovely shot!

Thanks, Ed!
I'm actually feeling a little restless with my usual subjects but haven't had the resources to go somewhere different lately. I might just need a change in the weather or a little road trip.

Your landscape images are fantastic, look forward to every one of them --along with lots of other fantastic photographers on this thread.

Thanks Ivan. I appreciate the kind words.

Here's something a little different. A realtor client of mine called yesterday and needs photos of this house for HOME magazine and their deadline is tomorrow. Conditions are not great at the moment with very little snow and ugly dead grass but he needs the shot and needs it to look as good as I can make it.
I stopped by last night around sunset and again this morning. I have not processed the morning shots yet but I liked how the light was coming through the stained glass at sunset last night. I tried knocking on the door to see if the homeowner could turn on some lights for a nice dusk shot but they would not answer it! I know someone was home because they closed the shades when they saw me arrive. Kind of weird.
I used to babysit and house sit for a friend who owned this when I was in college. It's a cool old house with a lot of neat little details.

Local History

Oldest structure in the county that has not been restored. It is the water settling tank for the mission built in the late 18th Century.

Great shot--love taking photos in the dark! No EXIF so I am guessing ISO 1000, f 4.5, and maybe 1/30 sec.
