Trying to slow the shutter for the water. In general I find the 645 lenses do pretty well stopped way down when I need it.

Out for moonrise tonight but it was too cloudy so I had to settle for Luna.

Good use of 45-85. I recently read a statement by a wedding photographer that the 45-85 is all he needs for a wedding, though I would think something more on the high end might be useful.

Thanks.
It could be done, I imagine. I used mine for a wedding but in combination with another camera for faster action and different FLs. It's a nice sharp lens, that is for sure.

Snowy walk in park with 645D

Snow came back last night, and I could not resist a walk in the park. I wanted to take the Arsat30 for a spin, but could not find the adapter. It is a thin little thing, and likes to hide from me. Here are some shots with the D FA645/90mm and FA645/35 instead.

NOTE: The D FA 90mm is a great lens, and knows how to turn almost anything you point it at into a nice photo, a little like the 77 limited on the K-1.

Yes, I am thinking the 45-85 on the 645D and the FA 85 f 1.4 on the K-3 (instead of the K-1) as a backup with a little more reach.

More snow pix with 645D & FA35mm.

Caught these in my front yard, and posting with the hope that we will have no further opportunity for snow pictures this year.

Edit: Oops, I said this was shot with the 105/2.4 but it's the 55/4.

the selective focus effect

You might have been "between clubs" with the two trees, but the lighting seems rather unique--the whole scene seems like a museum diorama.

Rescanned/replaced from a couple years ago but not improved. Fastest this camera will do is f5.6 and I already started shooting at EI 100 on the roll.

Some oldies made with a funky Kiev 60, but since I’m new to this forum:

Glacier Highway near Juneau, Arsat 30.

Juneau Waterfront at “Night”, Arsat 30.

Aquarius Plateau from Bryce, CZJ Sonnar 180/2.8.

Lone Pine, Bryce Canyon, Arsat 30
