#2 for me I think, the visual rhymes between the cliffs and the house and the bushes and the shingle, among other things, present more authoritatively.

Portraiture with 90mm

Here is my first effort at portraiture with the 645D and the Pentax-D FA 645 90mm f 2.8. Model is stepson Raymond decked out in his welding outfit for the training course he is taking at the Lincoln Electric Welding Training Center here in Cleveland.

Hi 'Sculptormic' - is it a 50mm or 55mm??.....also is that with an adapter??....I thought the Mamiya 645 flange distance is too short to use their lenses on Pentax 645???.... Thks & Rgds, Ian (in UK)

No it is the 55/4. It was transformed to Hasselblad V mount. Once in a while they appear on Ebay.

Hey, where'd you find that quote about Victorian art? Also, you're lucky to live in Toronto. I was just up there for a month working at the AGO to help them with the Kusama show (I'm with HMSG, the originating museum). Loved Toronto. The food! Wow, and so cheap. Really dug it.

That photo reveals everything I like about a fisheye’s ability to keep round things round.
