No, usual PP process used. I deliberately underexposed for the highlights like I normally do, so have boosted the shadows somewhat. The botanic gardens are very green and lush. Perhaps in boosting the shadows some of the greens are a little richer than you're used to from me...

A sunset from Hasting's Point in the north east of New South Wales... shot with ISO of 400 even though on a tripod, to keep shutter speed to a second...

It's a fine lens and I'm very happy with mine. I like my primes but I often start with this on the camera for convenience. If I need to go wider/longer/faster I get in to the primes more. If I don't need to swap lenses in the field I'll try to avoid it. I'm often in dusty/rainy/snowy locations.

I'd say I've been pleased with the bokeh on the 105/2.4 overall. But the complex foliage on that second one is, well, pretty nervous. Do you remember the aperture of that shot?

I don't recall the aperture, no - my note-taking has become haphazard at best, but I was shooting for semi-thin dof so I'd guess f/4 at most. Definitley wasn't wide open. Hard to imagine even a zeiss taming that frame though - that tree was cut heavily a few years back by the landlord; there were more new shoots all with blooms and light fissuring through than imaginable (or healthy for the tree really), and layers behind it into the evergreens. Likely could've been tamed opening more, but that wasn't my aim. If I'm honest, I'd have preferred a Helios at the time... a fever dream.
