Hopefully the lack of shine should keep the sanctimonious "how could you shoot on railroad tracks?" crowd at bay
The rail line has been abandoned for so long, school buses don't even stop at the crossings anymore

I may be wrong, but the sky in your photos from France always has this cloudy hazy look. I am just curious, is it always like that there, or you select this lighting on purpose?

I just joined the lovely Pentax forum family. This photo was taken with the Pentax 645z and Pentax 300mm FA. I love the rendering of this lens, excellent clarity, micro-contrast and I've found no fault with sharpness.
