645z + HD D FA 35/3.5

A recent fishing trip netted a bunch of turquoise and emerald colored Lingcod this weekend.
I learned the high diet of chlorophyll will even tint the meat a bluish hue.
An even better lesson was how it tasted - meat is very lean, flaky, and finely textured with a mild, sweet flavor. Good eats

The thing looks like it has some fangs too? Or is that something else. And it looks like it's gunning for you too.

A 2.35:1 crop of a prior 6x17 image I wasn't satisfied with in an attempt to improve it.

Oregon Sand Dunes
GX617, Rollei Retro 80S, Yellow filter

Really good framing with the crop. I'm always surprised seeing pictures here that would obviously benefit from cropping, like there's some religious thing about in-camera framing going on.

There are so many different places to post here that I really can't remember what I've posted where, but I don't think I've done this one here - sunrise at the Valley of desolation, Graaff-Reinet, South Africa with the 67, 55mm lens (I think) on Velvia 50

Please elaborate!
In all, the added options the GFX provides didn't make the experience of taking a photograph any better. In terms of image quality, the files are similar - quite outstanding.

Haha. It does have some nasty chompers!

Taken a couple of days ago, the River Add estuary flowing into Loch Crinan in the mid evening. It had been raining hard and the clouds parted a little. Z and DFA 90mm.

Thanks. The view finder for the lens is about a 2.85:1 view and the camera takes a 3:1. I've been cropping to 2.85:1 mostly but I'm liking this cinematic aspect better.

Another moody weather shot, this time in Glen Etive. Handheld with the Z and 28-45mm. I was driving my other half and step son so didn't get much opportunity to shoot on this trip (they don't have the slow and steady medium format genes)

The road rising over Keils Peninsula with the Isle of Jura beyond. This was taken with the Z and 67 200mm with a pentax adapter lent to me by, then bought from, fellow forum user BobL. It is much better than the 645 A 200 I had before.

The compositional features in this one particularly attract my attention.

Thank you. It has been a scene I visit often. I saw it once as an amazing sky with a cloud bow, a rainbow, sun rays and a distant rain shower. I rushed to the location and all the weather closed in and no shot was worth the running. So I keep going back in hope of a repeat. I like this one, been 20 times and not bothered, but I know there is a weather/composition combination that will make it sing. I will keep going back.

Nice catch! The perspective is great in that shot. Is the heavy bluecast accurate, or from post work?

Pow!...that certainly shows off the Velvia colour palette!

As I think I've said elsewhere, the great thing with transparency film is that you can't be accused of being too heavy on the saturation slider - people just accept/ed it as a characteristic of the film.
