Yeah, it's been a reliable film for me in terms of seeing the final results in my head when taking the picture with some forgiveness in its latitude.
Precisely! Sooooo user friendly, and excellent contrast IMO. Only required D&B on really tough shots, and even that was easy. Just great film, what I'd be shooting today if I was still shooting film.

The river that creek flows into, the Gunnison. I really like these transitions of flat water to faster flowing.

That's got stone fly all over it!
Cast to the point of the rock on the upper left & let drift right over the edge into the fast water

Nice use of 25mm. I have never actually seen this lens, though I have considered buying it. Unfortunately, I already put my free dollars into the D FA 90mm.

Thks Ivan - its the DA645 version, built like a tank and has the rotating filter built-into the lens body - I expected a bit of distortion, but the lens correction in LR handled it perfectly as the second image shows....

Nice. Maybe one of these days I can get one, which would actually complete my 645 lens collection. Oops, I still need the DA 150, only have the A version at present. Enjoy the 25mm and I will watch for your posts.

I’ll bet it was a dim studio and used conventional flash sync at 125 or so. Controlled studios are wonderful things.

But perhaps you looked at the EXIF, which I cannot do here.

I particularly like the next-to-last scooter shot.

Really bright studio strobes will have a duration longer than 1600 in any case. My Speedotrons will clip a bit even at 1/500 if I run a bulb at its maximum 800ws.
