I particularly like the next-to-last scooter shot.
Really bright studio strobes will have a duration longer than 1600 in any case. My Speedotrons will clip a bit even at 1/500 if I run a bulb at its maximum 800ws.

I use the Priolites to freeze the motion
No need to darken the studio
At 1/1600 (to freeze all the motion especially the feet) & f/8 (for more DoF because I don't know exactly the location of the final position of the model) I need to pump up the ISO to about 800
The strobes aren't true High Speed Sync but rather "long duration"
The lights "burn longer" although I do boost the power output a stop or more than the usual settings I use at sync speed (1/125)
