That second one is charming @mattb123

We've had a week of foggy mornings giving me some time to work on foggy pictures.

Congrats on the new gear. The results look good.
Thanks a lot ... I am really not yet at ease with the waist level view finder, but that will come with a bit more practice.

I just thought about asking a question here ... maybe someone knows. In my yard sale acquisition I also picked up a Bronica ETR with a 50/2.8, AE viewfinder and handle. It's in good shape other than I cannot get the shutter speeds to work correctly. It seems to be firing at the default speed of 1/500. I have tired with different new batteries and read quickly the manual on the "Butkus" site ... and have loaded a dead roll of 120 in it as well, but still the same speed only ... any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

As pp0rnn shot, here's what I picked up for two 50€ bills ... the RF's are a Leica IIIf with a Industar 50/3.5 and a Tower type III with a Fed 50/3.5. I really lucked out ... plus I bought another Leica (a IIIa Snychro withe Hektor 50/2.5) and some 135 gear from the same seller. He was selling a collection and I was at the right same at the right time.

Blocked by clouds for moonrise tonight. Still not bad.

Nice use of the A*300. I picked up a used copy of the FA*300/4, but have not really used it very much. Interesting what nice landscape results you are getting with such a telephoto lens.

Sunrise at the Empordà's Marshes

Duck (sometimes I try to do some "birding", but I fail miserably)

Bow (I love to play with reflections)

Red flower over green background (trying to fix a too vibrant JPG with a not enough vibrant RAW, I begun to play with sliders and reached this BW I loved)

Thanks! We have some very big wide open spaces to get far enough from subjects to make it useful. I love the telephoto compression it gives to the right landscape.
I brought the 300 and the 1.4x matched TC to catch the moon rising behind those mountains but as you can see it was too cloudy. Forecast doesn't look promising for tonight either.

The sunrise shows great colours, exposure and composition, I like the asymmetric reflection and the red flower over green background is something I keep meaning to try.

Great shots.

John.

Thanks a lot for your kind words, but I must admit all those factors are pure accidental. Well, all but composition. The colours are just the way my CCD rewards me, and the exposure was a camera decision (I'm not good enough at knowledge of light... yet?). The asymmetric reflections are the result of small land zones under the horizon, invisibles because the low light.

BUT, as I need some flattery, I will say all those things MAYBE were captured because me, who took the picture and decided to do that way (although not taking all those points under consideration, at least consciously)

Anyways, thanks a lot for your kind words.

More MF film fun from my outing at Montmorillon, France ... a Semflex TLR with a Berthiot 75/3.5 taking lens using Delta 400 and home developed in LC29 ... the roll had been in the camera forever, so I decided to finish it. A fun experience with the hand-held meter and I screwed up once in taking a double exposure ... it was not on purpose.
