Yeah, I know that feeling. I once started a hike at midnight in order to get to a vantage point by sunrise. And of course it was a pretty sterile sunrise that day.
Yeah, that's commitment! I just dove to this one so I wasn't that invested in it today. The whole excursion took an hour.

Generally, it is. At this exact moment, it is undergoing repairs having sustained some damage recently. But that should be complete in the next couple of months, and it will be back in action.

Would be cool if you hard a star trail and the windmill operating at the same time...

Hey Paul,

I did something like that once, with a wind turbine. Interesting, but perhaps less attractive...

I have not used my Heavy 6x7 gear for a while until I get my strength back after my Bowel Cancer Operation-- so i have used my very 'light' 1956 Minolta Autocord for these photos taken on 2002 datedFuji NPC 160 rated 100 ASA -- i home-processed in C41 and scanned with Epson 2480 flatbed + Vuescan Pro + FastStone Image Viewer.

Have taken some with the Sony close to Jeonju. Not really taken anything with the Z yet, but it looks like my business partner in Korea is taking me to East coast for a few days so am hopeful. Pouring with rain in Seoul today and the washing machine in my hotel room decided it would empty loads of water on to my floor on t he drying cycle...My gear was all off the floor so no damage done there...

I was really just checking out the new (to me) FA 150, which I find I am liking very well for its sharpness, rendering, and subject isolation at large apertures.

6x7, 45mm

I'm new to posting here. Enjoying the beautiful images on this thread. Didn't see much done with the 45mm 67 lens so I thought you might find this a bit interesting.

Mokala National Park, South Africa (the park is actually named after this tree which is called a Camelthorn in English). Shot on Provia 100F

Nice use of the 45. I don't have it but love the 67-55 on both the K-1 and the 645Z.
