Z and FA 45 - 85

You dun good to catch this view, and it's good to see how well the 45-85 is working for you. It sure makes the 45 redundant.

Thank you, sir. Glad you like 'em.

I used to own the 67 75mm f4.5 (before getting the f2.8 AL around 2004) and both are very good. I would say that the f2.8 is a little sharper and MUCH easier to focus precisely; the brighter viewfinder it provides is worth a lot. If you zoom in on digi, you can see the difference in resolution. There is perhaps a little more geometric distortion on the f2.8 version, but it's not huge - or obvious with my type of subject matter. The digital rendering is rather film-like - and there is a little purple fringing in specular highlights (which cleans up nicely). IMO both are superior to the 645 75mm options...

As for more chances, I am back home in London and back at work - so I got what I got (some more uploads will follow soon).
Thanks for those comments Ed, love your work as I sit here in my house in winter in northern Ohio and go fondle each lens I am seeing others use to capture breathtaking scenery, and then ishimitis using his FA 45-85 right after you to catch and post a similarly spectacular view. Both of you keep up the good work!

I spotted this cloud formation over St Tudwal's Islands (Wales) over the Christmas break, although It only really works as a crop.

Trying FP4+ on the Oregon Sand Dunes this visit. Nothing is straight on these dune slops and I often struggle on what to level the camera with.

Mike, those shots are superb. I think I have found the location I want to visit on my next trip!

Construction near London's South Bank, with full moon (and helpfully veiling clouds)
