I agree with others comments about the lighting being harsh particularly with the blown highlights, but the fidelity of color and texture is breathtakingly good.
Thanks for your comment. I think we must credit the Z and the 90mm f 2.8 macro lens for the color and texture!

Two more fruit still lifes

Following up on member advices. Dump the strobe, position table adjacent to outside/west window, rearrange fruit. Two lenses were used for these two photos, the 645 90mm f 2.8 and the 67 55mm f 4.0.

I like the flash shot better than these. It's got a whole lot more pizzazz.

I think the window has some potential. I used a window and reflector as I described here on this wooden lens case I made.

Yes---so glad I got mine right away in 2014. But at least now you have one, so congrats and enjoy it as I do mine---immensely. Although the impulse for me to get it was a bit complicated but very much related to professional needs, it's one of my favorite cameras to use I've ever had---just really love using it.

Enjoy I will!! It’s a little bit of a learning curve but, much of the enjoyment is this. Had I had a reason professionally to buy one earlier, I'm sure I would have, though for me it’s purely personal enjoyment, luckily they are somewhat cheaper on the second hand market these days. It has a totally different feel to anything i've used in the past. I'd say early thoughts its more comfortable hand held than my Nikon D810.... Love it!!!

Great photos. I love the 180 Sonnar. The portraits it produces seem extremely natural and easy going, a natural softness to it. Please keep posting your work with this great lens! Wondering which version you have. Mine is the "bumpy" one, with rubber bumps on the focus ring.

The only 645 system I have is the Bronica ETR/ETRS. I was checking to see if my stash of 1978-dated Plus-X 220 was useable. I was happiliy surprised, developing normallly in HC-110B.

Walking about downtown Hartford with the ETRS and the 75mm f/2.8 Zenzanzon PE.
