It is a camping site. These houses are for rent. You can find your house easely by the color.
I guess "camping" means something else there.

Last time I was in Netherlands, I noticed that lots of folks had little garden huts or cottages out by their country gardening plots. I guess this would also be a form of camping.

Initial trial shots using 645Z with Pentax 645 135mm f 4.0 LS in leaf shutter mode. Critical comments are invited, but gentleness is appreciated since this is my first such effort!

SETTINGS: 1/250 shutter on LS lens, 1/4 on camera shutter, at f 8.0 and 100 ISO, manual mode on camera, manual setting on flash at lowest (1/16) level. Minimal editing for slight skin imperfections.
I think maybe you missed focus on the first one. Typically the eyes need to be in focus and in particular, the closer eye to the camera.
The second one is better with focus. One improvement that could be made is to have the model lift her chin a little to eliminate the double chin effect but other than that it looks like a nice informal portrait.

Thanks for the suggestions Matt. I would like to develop some sort of skills with portraiture, and your comments are quite helpful to me.

I think, sculptormic, that dsmithhfx may have been hinting at a pun. See lower second group of noun definitions at Camp | Definition of Camp at Dictionary.com
