Coloseum in Rome.

Usually, I remove people from such scenes. In this case, I made sure I included them in the final edit...

Belvoir Castle in the English County of Leicestershire (close to the point where it meets both Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire).

They are really needed for scale. Great shot.

Great use of the 28-45 in the Coloseum photo, and I approve of the concept of retaining the people in the photograph. It would add a great historical touch if you could include a few of the original attendees and participants. :>)

Star trails on a long exposure?
yes

Great photo as usual, and also great to see something from the 25mm. One question, however--what is coming down from the sky to create those elogated white artifacts, rain?
That is just star trails from a single 5 minute exposure. The sky is not compelling.
I actually captured 2 hours of proper star trailing but have not gotten around to processing it and blending the image. stay tuned!

Here is the star trails version of my New Idria single frame shot posted earlier. This one represents almost 2 hours of Earth's movement.

Wonderful shot, Mike! Love it... My kind of image. Executed brilliantly. Did you pull this off while evading security?

And is that moonlight casting a shadow?

This was the planned result, however, security chased me out before I could collect my star frames. So last weekend, I went out locally and grabbed the star trails. This is a composite of two sessions. Thank you.
